Hi! I’m Tanya.

I am a fiber artist and a crochet designer.

All of my childhood has been a one long DIY journey: knitting, crocheting, drawing, weaving, inventing, wood burning, sewing, you name it! However, crochet is my passions. I enjoy making things and interweave positive thoughts into my creations.

My crochet story starts from a huge dose of inspiration.

Several years ago I was invited to a baby shower, the one which changed my life completely. I saw a hand made gift there, it was a baby blanket. It was so beautiful, that the minute I got home I went on google to check what I would like to make.

I fell in love with lace crochet dresses and wanted to make them all. That night I ordered a set of hooks and some lace yarn to practice the stitches. I figured the best way for me to learn would be to crochet dollies. Then I made a sweater, socks, hats and other garments. However, my friend told me I would end up making toys, I laughed… Why would I make toys if there are so many wearable things you can make? Well, here I am mostly designing toys and never made a single dress…Welcome to my blog! Hope you find your dose of inspiration here.

I'm very happy to announce that "Felix with pumpkin" #world_of_felix has been released and you can find a free version of it on my blog (link in BIO)🎉💃
The pattern contains instructions and charts on how to make the pumpkin.
You may use the pumpkins as appliques or make a garland to decorate your home, attach it to your Thanksgiving tablecloth on the sides and behind the chairs.
Felix could also be used to decorate your desk at work and he will make a good fall housewarming gift even for adults.
If you prefer a PDF file, you may find this pattern on Etsy and Ravelry.
The file is too large for a single Etsy download, so I had to split it into 2 parts😔
On the other hand, Raverly has been great with large files, and it is uploaded over there in a single file.

Today this trio is going to Relief Share non-profit organization ❤
I wanted to crochet some octopuses to donate to my local hospital. But I was so disappointed to find out that hospitals no longer accept handmade donations due to Covid restrictions.
However, I happened to find the right person at the right time.
This organization has existed for many years and thus is trusted. I was told they accepted all kinds of donations. Yay!💃
Will get to making octopuses sometime soon but meanwhile sending these guys out to find their new home and become friends with their new little owners.
It is so easy to be happy 🥰

It is finally here! Let me introduce this "Incredible Me" poncho to you. I'm in love with it. The moment I saw this yarn, I knew what I was going to make.
This pattern is adjustable. You may choose to crochet the same size as mine or customize it to your own needs. Isn't it great?
If you are interested, please comment below.
• If you have a daughter or a niece and you would like to adjust the pattern to make matching ponchos, that would be awesome.
• If you make a bigger size, you will need 3 skeins of yarn mentioned below.
Will choose people on Saturday and will notify via DM. You will have 3 weeks to finish. Deadline is July 29th. If you are able to finish earlier, that will be great.
You should be able to provide a feedback and picture of finished poncho.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Caron "Latte Cakes", #5, Bulky weight, (58% Acrylic, 42% Nylon; 530 yds/485 m per 8.8 oz/250 g)
* I used approximately 1003 yds/917 m (16.7 oz/473 g)
- 6.5 mm/K-10.5 and 7.5 mm (for a foundation chain) hooks or the one which matches your yarn
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Stitch marker
P.S. The colorway I used is Shocking gray. Feel free to use any other color.
